I am a Gunsmith and this Manuel comes in handy explaining the "1911" to customers/people.
READABLE
Like most other Mike Francis books, this is really more of a long article if that. The entire book took about 30 minutes to read, and had a number of grammatical errors. The information is very basic and the writing style is frankly amateurish. For just a few dollars, this still isn't worth reading. The information presented is common knowledge and skimming the Wikipedia article on the 1911 pistol will get you more information.
Very simple to follow and a nice short read. Extremely useful weather you are an experienced shooter as a memory aid, or if you are new to this sidearm and need a basic guide. One point to note, the video links ar now out of date and could do with refreshing. :)
